American Foundations Institute (AFI), purposes to be a religious (Christian Biblical), educational, and eleemosynary institution where God’s truth is revealed in every subject taught in its curriculum, and where students are encouraged to apply this revelation, and voluntarily consent to be governed by this revelation first in their own lives, and lovingly tell it to others. It will be a religious educational institution that prepares Americans for servant-leadership, and where one is educated to think logically based on reason coupled with revelation (God’s Word) to advance liberty with responsibility in the institutions of the Home, School, Church, Business, Civil, Economics, Communications, and the Arts & Sciences. This religious educational institution will educate Americans to think Biblically, speak governmentally, and live virtuously in order to uphold and sustain our American Christian Constitutional Federal Republic, and maintain a love for liberty with responsibility. AFI exists to teach, illustrate, demonstrate, and develop Godly character and leadership in all spheres of life and living which will advance individual liberty and self-government.
Additionally, AFI is a not-for-profit service organization contributing directly to the support of educational institutions and supports and propagates a philosophy of Christian education. AFI believes that a philosophy of education is a philosophy of government, and that every religion has a view of government. America astounded the world with Christian self-government! Christian self-government (Rom 5:4) produces Christian character which is necessary to uphold and maintain a Christian Constitutional Federal Republic – the form of government establishing the United States of America as she was originally founded and recorded in her founding source documents – the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, to name just two. Participation in any of the services of AFI is voluntary. It is an organization designed to develop virtuous attitudes, desires, and the power to do the will of God, resulting in a Godly self-image that can influence the development of character wholly conformed and submitted to the will of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, and to encourage humility in service to God and man.
